At some point I will remember I'm lactose intolerant.

I'm not completely lactose-intolerant. I can handle small doses of lactose.

I cannot handle "nutella milkshake from Steak-N-Shake" doses of lactose.

All the same I cannot regret having the milkshake.

Man, lactose intolerance is so hard to remember! Cheese is so delicious and my willpower is weak

I spent ten years being severely lactose intolerant after contracting giardia and there were days I went "You know what? Stuff it, I'll stay home, I want this cheese/bowl of icecream"

(I went to an allergist and he helped me become tolerant-ish again. It's great. Now it only happens if I decide "no, I want that cheese AND that creamy pasta AND maybe a dairy-based dessert.")
