it feels uncharitable to whine in public about how I will have to wait longer than I expected to retire when instead I should be grateful that I have held a job that will support me retiring from it.

currently torn between "you do not get a cookie for doing the stuff you're supposed to be doing" and (in lunarriviera's words) "only positive reinforcement teaches new behavior".

must consider the sources: "no cookie" = brain weasels; "positive reinforcement" = the best dog in the known universe.
