it's... not time for that yet?
Feb. 22nd, 2019 11:15 amIt's the middle of February.
There is still snow on the ground.
But spring must be coming because my brain is like, "Garden? Garden??? Garden!?!?!?"
I have seeds for peas and beans and lettuce but I think February is too early to plant those under any circumstances.
I have seeds for tomatoes and ground cherries and a few other cool things and I think February is way too early to start those indoors because the last frost is around mid-May.
The useful things I could do - prune the weeping cherry tree, pull out the old raised beds that are starting to rot and build new ones somewhere else, murder the volunteer shrubs and trees - it is too cold or too snowy or both to accomplish.
Is there anything I can usefully grow in a yogurt cup in my little IKEA mini-greenhouse?
...maybe basil, if I get it successively larger yogurt cups and eventually let it live outside?
