So they really wanted you to remember the "burdened with glorious purpose" thing. It was the episode title (same as S1E1's title which I thought was interesting). They referenced it in the "previously on...". They referenced it in a scene within the episode.
Loki ended up confronting He Who Remains - yes, he's dead, but we have time travel, so. During this confrontation Loki quoted (more or less) T.S. Eliot's "Four Quartets 4: Little Gidding"
We die with the dying

I didn't know it; I went and looked it up.
Back near the beginning of the poem, I found:
Either you had no purpose
Or the purpose is beyond the end you figured
And is altered in fulfilment.
