it's close enough to spring...
Mar. 11th, 2020 11:57 amIn theory I can plant peas, lettuce, and spinach right now.
In theory if I do this I will have yummy fresh veg in a couple months.
What happened last year is that the lettuce got eaten by a critter literally the day before I was going to harvest it and the peas somehow didn't grow.
I probably didn't help the peas any with my patented "whoops, I should really tend that garden" method. It's great for picking out perennials to grow ("if it comes back a second year, it gets to stay"). Not so good for food.
Am I enough of an optimist to try again?
